This is the second demo video I am sharing, this time in “Real Time”, to demonstrate a hypothetical application of ChatGPT in a fictional scenario. I discuss the intersection of social work and ChatGPT, and provide real-life examples of how this powerful technology can be used to improve work with a client, and streamline a Social Workers daily workflow. From developing a case plan to creating a case note entry, ChatGPT can streamline many of the administrative tasks that social workers often face.
An important aspect of using ChatGPT in social work is the consideration of bias and countertransference. As an AI model, ChatGPT does not have personal biases or emotions, which can be a valuable asset in situations where a social worker may struggle with their own biases or emotions. However, it is important to understand that the AI model is only as unbiased as the data it is trained on, so it is crucial to be aware of any potential biases in the data sets used for training.
